Thoroughbred Retirement of Tampa proudly introduced Spring Lake Equestrian Center as the new location for TROT's fostered Thoroughbreds.

Spring Lake Equestrian Center, owned and operated by Felica Bass, is a refuge for Tampa Bay Downs' retiring racehorses. Off The Track Thoroughbreds get loving care and rehabilitation while awaiting their forever homes.

With 27 acres along with two barns, this is a wonderfully comfortable location for thoroughbreds to transition out of the racing world and become riding or companion horses. The horses enjoy a lighted riding arena and covered round pen making our facility ideal for thoroughbred retirement and retraining.

Spring Lake Equestrian Center is proud to be affiliated with TROT who works together with Tampa Bay Downs for a safe retirement for race horses.
